Local facilities include the bar ‘Chez Andre’ in Locarn (2 Km), which sells a small selection of groceries. It also serves an excellent set ‘menu’ at lunch time, this includes wine, for 9 Euro's
	Mael-Carhaix has 2 small mini markets, 2 banks, bars, restaurants, boulangerie, chemist and garage. The food shops are usually open on Sunday morning, but some shut all day Monday. There are two supermarkets (Casino & Intermarche) at Callac (9Km), these are also open Sunday morning.
Larger shopping centres are to be found at Rostrenen and Carhaix-Plougher, both having three large supermarkets plus many other shops.
